Bonvitel Privacy Policy

Effective: the date Bonvitel begins providing service ยท Last updated: November 6, 2026

1. Overview

Bonvitel LLC ("Bonvitel," "we," "us," "our") provides business communications and AI agent infrastructure services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

2. Information We Collect

Account and identity information: business legal name, EIN, owner/officer name, billing address, business email domain, and contact information, collected to verify your identity and comply with carrier and financial regulations (including OFAC sanctions screening).

Payment information: processed through our payment processor. Bonvitel does not store full card numbers; card data is handled in a PCI DSS compliant manner by our processor.

Telecommunications data (CPNI): call detail records (numbers dialed/received, call duration, time), message content and metadata, voicemail and call recordings (with required consent notices), and related usage data. This is Customer Proprietary Network Information and is handled under the protections described in Section 5.

Usage and technical data: API usage, login activity, device and browser information, and diagnostic logs.

911/E911 data: the registered service address associated with each number capable of placing calls, used solely to route emergency calls to the correct dispatch center.

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, and bill for the Service.
  • To verify your identity, screen for sanctions matches, and prevent fraud.
  • To route emergency (911) calls to the correct location.
  • To screen bulk and campaign messaging content for compliance with applicable law before it is sent.
  • To operate AI features you configure (e.g., the AI receptionist), within the scope you authorize.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including responses to lawful requests from regulators, carriers participating in the USTelecom Industry Traceback Group, and law enforcement.
  • To communicate with you about your account, including service and billing notices.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. AI Vendors

Where AI voice or messaging features rely on third-party model providers (for example, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, or large language model vendors), we maintain signed data-processing agreements with those vendors. Your call and message content is not used to train third-party AI models.

5. CPNI (Customer Proprietary Network Information)

As a telecommunications service provider, Bonvitel is subject to FCC rules governing CPNI, including call detail and usage data. We:

  • Do not share your CPNI with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
  • Restrict internal access to CPNI to personnel who need it to operate or support the Service, on a least-privilege basis, with access logged.
  • Will authenticate your identity before disclosing CPNI to you or making account-related changes by phone or online.

6. Data Sharing

We share information only as necessary to:

  • Operate the Service (e.g., with our underlying carrier and messaging/voice transport providers, to route your calls and messages).
  • Process payments (with our payment processor).
  • Comply with law, respond to lawful government or carrier-traceback requests, or protect the rights and safety of Bonvitel, our customers, or the public.
  • Complete a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected customers.

7. Data Retention

We retain account, billing, and CPNI data for as long as your account is active and as required by applicable telecommunications record-keeping and tax regulations thereafter.

8. Your Rights

You may request:

  • Export of your account and usage data.
  • Deletion of your account data, subject to records we are legally required to retain (e.g., for tax or regulatory compliance).

Requests can be made at support@bonvitel.com.

9. Data Security

We maintain PCI DSS compliant payment handling, encryption of CPNI and message content at rest and in transit, least-privilege internal access controls with logging, and a written breach-notification and incident-response plan.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active account holders.
